Salt Spring Commons officially broke ground in July! The project will provide 24 long-term family homes for Salt Springers built within walking distance of Ganges.
Many members of our community worked hard on this project intensively for years, so it is wonderful to see it finally break ground.
If you read about this in the Driftwood, you might have caught that the project has been in the works for a little while now. Since 1994.
But we digress. This is great news that it finally now has all its approvals, and is starting construction. Well done to Community Services and everyone involved!
